The Titanic star, Kate Winslet, suffered an injury after she fell on the sets. It was reported that she has injured her leg after falling and was immediately rushed to the Dubrovnik Hospital, Croatia.
The 46-year-old actress was on a shoot in the village of Kupari when she slipped and fell. Kate is set to play the popular American photojournalist Lee Miller in her biopic.
One of the representatives of the actress said to MailOnline – Kate was on the sets when she fell. She was injured and in pain. The production rushed her to the hospital, and they wanted to be ensured that she was okay. The Doctors have checked her, and she is fine now. She will join the sets and start filming again.
The Croatian press took some photos of the actress whilst she was arriving at Dubrovnik Hospital. She was in a black van, and there were other people too who accompanied her.
In the hospital, Kate was thoroughly checked by the doctors. The reports suggested that she was alright, and the doctors allowed her to go back home.
In 2020, it was announced that Kate would be playing the role of the model, fashion photographer, photojournalist, and war correspondent Lee Miller in her biopic.
Lee Miller, born on April 23, 1907, was a war correspondent for Vogue during the Second World War. She covered some major events like the London Blitz, concentration camps at Buchenwald and Dachau, and the liberation of Paris. She passed away on July 21, 1997, at the age of 70.
In her biopic, her work life and the journey will be shown, her experiences in the war as a photojournalist, her struggles and hardhsips, and the horrific truths which she uncovered about the Nazis.
The director of this film is Ellen Kuras, the American cinematographer. Ellen was also the cinematographer of the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The film starred Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey. The film is based on the book The Lives of Lee Miller, the writer of whose is Antony Penrose.
