Disney Plus fired Hugo Speer after allegations of misconduct surfaced about him. The actor played the role of Guy in the 1997 classic comedy-drama – The Full Monty. This series was a huge hit and was also nominated for four Oscars, winning one for Best Music.
Reportedly, the cast is returning in The Full Monty reboot series consisting of eight episodes. The production has already begun in Sheffield and Manchester.
However, after the allegations of inappropriate conduct against Hugo Speer, Disney Plus withdrew the contact with the actor. Disney Plus said – “The decision was made to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
Furthermore, Hugo Speer’s spokesperson, Simon Brewer, released a statement – ” Hugo denies all the allegations and is challenging all of them.”
