Michael Eavis, the founder of Glastonbury, officially opened the gates on Wednesday, 22 June. Music lovers from around the world are congregating at Worthy Farm.
Tents are being set up, and preparations are underway by revelers to be entertained by the live music sets, which are kicking off on Friday.
Billie Eilish makes history this year as the youngest ever headliner for Glastonbury, accompanied by Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and US rapper Kendrick Lamar.
The rock band – Wolf Alice was to perform on the stage at 4:45 pm on Friday. However, their flights have been canceled, the mercury prize-winning band tweeted this early morning.
Wolf Alice band had a performance in LA and were to catch a flight for the festival, but due to the ongoing travel disruptions in the UK, it is unsure if they will be able to make it there. Their fans were excited about their performance.
Meantime, the weather will be cloudy on Friday 24 June, as forecasted by the Met Office. There will be light rain by early evening.
